This is a standard CBLT web page used prior to updating CBLT Unit or other information.

A set of updated pages for this unit will be made available just prior to the sessions on Thursdays starting in February 2010

As the academic year (October to June) progresses, the webpages for each CBLT taught Unit are updated. Before the update takes place this page is put in its place.

The students taking this programme come from wide and varied backgrounds. They tell us that this mix of views and contexts is invigorating and often helps challenge pre-conceived ideas.

We have part-time and full-time students from:

  • Primary and Secondary schools
  • Lecturers in Further and Higher Education
  • Teachers from other european countries
  • Teachers from overseas (China, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea)
  • Personnel from the armed services

For any teachers currently employed in schools in England & Wales the Training & Development Agency (TDA) provide funding to partially subsidise the costs
